As an urban planner with a passion for sustainable development and heritage conservation, my recent weekend at Starry Domes Desert Camp was a truly unique experience that I wholeheartedly recommend. the camp's blend of modern amenities and traditional Emirati elements in the heart of the Badīyah desert was a sight to behold. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and thoughtfulness of the staff, especially Hamid, made our stay exceptional. the luxurious dome we stayed in was not only brand new and clean but also provided breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, allowing us to witness stunning sunrises right from our bed - a truly magical experience. The attention to detail from the staff, ensuring we felt well looked after and relaxed, was commendable. the star-gazing opportunities were unparalleled, and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the desert dunes. the tranquility and privacy offered by the camp's design, with only 5 separate domes, allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the desert surroundings. the engaging conversations with other guests and the host in the Bedouin-style tent after dinner added a cultural richness to our experience. In conclusion, Starry Domes Desert Camp surpassed all my expectations and I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Hamed, Hassan, and the entire team for creating such a memorable experience.
